Education: The Key to Change
Education can be crowned the light in darkness, the only saviour strong enough to lead us through
the difficult terrains of ignorance, prejudice and chauvinism. Today, even the young minds are
poisoned by the brutal venom of the age-old prejudices and dogmatic views of this barbaric society.
In a world drowned in inequalities and incomprehension, one finds oneself constantly worrying
about the obscure future of our world led by heartless views and judgements.
The only power that we yield against this dangerous and deteriorating darkness is education. Young
minds need to be constantly taught to walk the right path and think differently from their ancestors.
They must learn from the mistakes of our horrendous pasts and learn the power they yield to
develop the pragmatic society of our dreams. These young minds have immense potential to forge
innovative solutions and bring about executive, noble and all-encompassing changes in our society.
They have the mental and physical strength to show the world new wonders and make this world a
better place. In view of the immense power these young ones cherish, it is our responsibility to
ensure that they are provided all necessary care and resources to develop emotionally and
intellectually.
Education here plays a key role. It paves a path for these young geniuses and guides them through
the process of betterment and awards them morales that make them a better human. In our day-to-
day life we come face to face with many issues that trembles the very foundation of trust and logic
that our society is build on. To point out a few issues such as misogyny, castes, race inequalities,
gender biased bias and other social evils are rampaging the world. These social evils are the signs of
the world hanging for its dear life, pushed down the cliff by dim-witted humans, who foolishly
consider these to signs of intellect.
We must be able to show the future generation that these wars fought on unlawful and illogical
grounds, these treacherous prejudices we hold, these impossible inequalities we created are neither
the sign of power nor intellect but is our future walking on thin ice. As countries are divided into
fragments not anymore by borders alone, as people are separated no longer by walls alone and our
once safe streets are torn apart by war cries and bloodsheds we are staring at a bleak future. We
must educate the future to take over the world not with the crooked view to amass power or
dominate, but to ensure everyone in this world has an equal opportunity to grow and develop.
Every second we waste doubting the change education can bring to this broken world, is one step
closer to destruction. Lack of education has created enemies, murderers and terrorists. It is time to
change the fate of this delicate world before time runs out. We must eradicate these evils before our
fields are overflown with blood and tears of innocents, before friends turn foes, before the walls get
higher and the world falls any further. Hence education is no more a necessity it is a CURE, the only
one that can save this diseased world. No weapons, no leader can ever achieve what education can
because ‘EDUCATION AFTERALL IS THE KING OF CHANGE’.
