NAVRANG UTSAV 2026 : Where Ethnic Pride Meets Garba Vibes! 💃🏻❤️🔥
Sometimes, all you need is a little music, a lot of colours, and a reason to celebrate.
College life is usually about classes, assignments, and deadlines. But every once in a while, a day comes along when you get to put all of that aside, dress up in your ethnic best, meet your friends, and just enjoy yourself.
On 24th October 2026, Navrang Utsav brought the festive spirit of Navratri to RVCE. The campus was filled with colourful outfits, excited faces, music, and an energy that was hard to miss... For a day, the usual college routine took a backseat, and the focus was on celebrating, having fun, and making memories together.
Ethnic Fits, Confidence, and a Little Friendly Competition 👑
Because a great outfit is even better when you carry it with confidence.
One of the highlights of the day was Mr. & Ms. Navrang, featuring Best Dressed and Talent Showcase. From stunning ethnic outfits and confident ramp walks to participants stepping onto the stage to share their talents, both segments brought something special to the celebration.
It wasn't just about looking your best or showing what you could do. It was about having the confidence to step forward, express yourself, and enjoy your moment in the spotlight. And that is what made the competition exciting!
From the Stage to the Celebrations 🎭
Every performance brought something different to the day.
The lamp lighting ceremony marked an auspicious beginning, followed by an address from our sponsors. The celebrations continued with an energetic dance performance by Footprints, the dance club of RVCE, followed by a creative presentation from EVOKE, the fashion club of RVCE.
Each segment added its own flavour to the event, keeping the excitement going and giving everyone something to cheer for. And, of course, the stalls added to the festive atmosphere, with food, goodies, and little things to explore between activities.
Good Food, Great Company, and Garba! 🎶
Because no Navratri celebration is complete without Garba.
After a busy morning of activities and performances, lunch gave everyone a chance to recharge, catch up with friends, and talk about the moments they had enjoyed so far. But the day wasn't over yet!
With DJ Madan taking over the music, it was finally time for Garba. The beats, the traditional steps, the colourful outfits, and everyone joining in created the kind of atmosphere that makes Navratri so special. Whether you knew every step or were simply following your friends around the dance floor, there was room for everyone to be part of the fun.
And honestly, sometimes you don't need to get every step right. Good music, your favourite people, and the freedom to enjoy the moment are more than enough!
The Kind of Day You Look Back On ❤️
The music stops, but the memories stay.
Navrang Utsav was more than just a day of competitions, performances, and Garba. It was about celebrating our culture, cheering for one another, spending time with friends, and taking a break from the usual college routine.
Of course, behind all the fun were hours of planning, coordination, teamwork, and those little last-minute details that somehow always find their way into every event. Seeing everything come together and watching people enjoy the celebration made all that effort worthwhile.
The outfits will go back into our wardrobes, the stalls will pack up, and the campus will return to its usual rhythm. But the photographs, the laughter, and the memories of the day will stay with us....
And maybe that's what makes college events so special. They turn an ordinary day into a story worth telling long after it's over.
Here's to the colours, the culture, the people, and a Navrang Utsav worth remembering! 🌟
