Twenty-seven people, one room, and perhaps the only time everyone managed to be present together!
Every journey has a beginning, and ours takes us back to the last GBM of our seniors' tenure, where, surprisingly, all 27 of us managed to be present together! As the results were announced, some of us got the roles we had hoped for, while others found themselves taking up responsibilities they hadn't initially imagined. But as time passed, we learnt to embrace the roles we were given, make the most of every opportunity, and give our best to every responsibility that came our way. What started as a set of positions slowly became a journey of learning, adapting, and growing together.
Beyond the Responsibilities 🫶🏻
From unfamiliar faces to shared waffles, with Rotaract bringing us together.
Our first outing, aptly named Sweet Beginnings, was where it all started to feel a little more personal. We went out together, barely knowing each other's names, departments, or anything beyond the fact that we were all part of Rotaract. The results had come on July 14, just a day before Belgian Waffle Day, making the timing even sweeter! What began as a group of strangers soon turned into conversations, laughter, and the excitement of getting to know one another. It was interesting how people from different departments, with different personalities and interests, found a common ground through one club. After all, Rotaract wasn't just bringing us together for responsibilities; it was giving us people to share the journey with.
Celebrating the Little Victories 🎉
When something that seemed impossible at 6 AM turned into one of our club's best events.
And then came the events that truly tested us. Navrang Utsav was one such experience. From endless planning and preparations to last-minute challenges, there were moments when pulling everything together felt almost impossible. The 6 AM rush, the uncertainty, and the countless things that needed to fall into place made it a day to remember. What seemed impossible in the early hours turned into one of the best events our club has ever witnessed. The excitement, celebrations, and satisfaction of seeing everything come together made every bit of hard work worthwhile. It reminded us that sometimes, the best results come from working together, trusting each other, and refusing to give up when things get difficult.

The beautiful thing about being part of a club is that our story is far from over. There are more events to organise, places to explore, and experiences waiting to unfold. One day, we will look back at this journey and remember the GBMs, the first outing, the challenges, and the celebrations that brought us closer. We will realise that it was never just about the roles we held or the events we organised, but also about the people we met and the bonds we built along the way.
Perhaps the greatest achievement of being part of a club isn't just what we accomplish together, but who we become through the journey. Here's to everything we've experienced so far and all that is yet to come! 🥂✨
